Like many areas, you can spend the day shopping, enjoy eating out at a local restaurant or perhaps go into the surrounding area to take in some of the sights and sounds. Chautauqua Park – This is a great way to spend the day, regardless of whether you’re going by yourself or if you are taking the entire family. After you find a place to park, which may be somewhat challenging, you can spend the day hiking, enjoying the weather or simply watching the world go by. A number of trails are quite popular in the area, but the Royal cascade Trail is one that you may find challenging. Not only will you find beautiful views while you are out and about, you will find some of the unique landscapes that make this one of the top parks in Boulder Colorado.

Scott Carpenter Park – If you are looking for something to do with the children, then the Scott Carpenter Park is certainly an area that is well worth considering. You will find a number of different attractions at the park for children but it is all themed around space, so those attractions include things such as a spaceship, rocket, meteor and a space shuttle. There are plenty of other things to do as well, including a skate park and a field that is suitable for playing softball.

Central Park – You don’t have to go very far in order to get to this particular park, which is located right in the city. It is a great place to relax and enjoy some beauty in the area. The grassy areas offer the opportunity for anything from a quick nap to a family picnic. It is also a nice place to get in some exercise, regardless of whether you are jogging, walking or riding a bike. Be sure to look for one of the events that take place throughout the year, because the park really comes alive during the time.
